Medal cast
Two casts, obverse and reverse, of a commemorative medalet. Obverse: Winged Victory carrying a flaming sword in her right and a wreath in her left hand. Legend: 'GOTT SEGNETE DE VEREINIGTEN HEERE'. Reverse: Inscription, 'NIEDERLAGE DES ENGL. FRANZ. PANZERGESCHW. VOR DEN DARDANELLEN 18 MÄRZ 1915' (Defeat of the Anglo-French Armoured Squadron off the Dardanelles, 18 March 1915).
