Letters from Albert Murray on HMS IMPREGNABLE and at the Royal Naval Hospital at Stonehouse, 1875-1876.
Letters received by Mrs Emma Murray while her son was undergoing training on HMS IMPREGNABLE at Devonport, dated between 7 October 1875 and 8 January 1876. Two of them are from colleagues in the service, conveying the news of Murray's illness from measles. Most of the others were written by Murray during his treatment at the Royal Naval Hospital, Stonehouse.
