White Ensign
British naval ensign. Worn by HMS 'Cardiff' 1917 which led the German fleet into Scapa Flow when it surrendered on 21 November 1918. The crew drew lots for it after the surrender and it went to Horace Basil Sweetman RN. Rope attached. Brass grommets in hoist.
