Service vessel; Lifeboat

Scale: Unknown. A full hull model of a proposed double-ended lifeboat made entirely in metal and painted. The depicted vessel is twin-hulled, double-ended and fully enclosed. The hull is painted light pink below the waterline and light grey or off-white above. The deck is built up producing a sheltered part running along the centreline of the model and along this are positioned three circular turrets with domed roofs and circular apertures in the tops. The midship turret is slightly larger proportionally than the turrets at the fore and aft ends. The purpose of these turrets is not known. On the port and starboard inner faces of the shelter deck are inset rectangular portholes at regular intervals. There is what appears to be a stove pipe emerging from the deck at one end of the model.
