Naval truncheon with a turned handle formed as five knobs. The top section painted blue with a gold and red design and lettering. On one side a crown surmounted by a lion with the Royal Monogram 'IV WR'. On the other side 'Po R.C.V.Y. 1834' (Royal Clarence Victualling Yard, Gosport).
