Deflecting apparatus
Deflecting apparatus. This consists fo a circular base which has two vertical metal arms, one graduated. A sliding frame carrying a 3.75" (9.5cm) magnet of square section is fitted on the arms and this has two lines engraved for reading the scale. It can be raised or lowered by a rack-operated wheel and pinion.
