Arm badge. Aircraft handler when matched with a badge with an aeroplane on it. The ranking indicated by the badge is dependent upon the year the badge was worn.
- Crown above the aeroplane and a star and H below indicates a Chief Petty Officer, Aircraft Handler, 1st Class
- Crown above the aeroplane and a H below indicates a Chief Petty Officer, Aircraft Handler, or a Chief Petty Officer, 2nd class or an Aircraft Handler, 1st Class.
- Star above the aeroplane, star and the letter H below indicates either an Aircraft Handler 1st class or an Aircraft Handler, 2nd class.
- Star above the aeroplance, letter H below indicates an Aircraft Handler 2nd class or an Aircraft Handler 3rd class.
- Letter H below the aeroplance indicates either an Aircraft Handler 3rd class or an Aircraft Handler (unqualified)
- Crown above the aeroplane and a star and H below indicates a Chief Petty Officer, Aircraft Handler, 1st Class
- Crown above the aeroplane and a H below indicates a Chief Petty Officer, Aircraft Handler, or a Chief Petty Officer, 2nd class or an Aircraft Handler, 1st Class.

- Letter H below the aeroplance indicates either an Aircraft Handler 3rd class or an Aircraft Handler (unqualified)
