Liquid compass - aircraft.
Bowl: Black painted aluminium, it is not possible to see the filler plug or expansion chamber as a sealed cover is persent. Fitted with a domed verge glass which has a lubber line mounted underneath.
Card: Diameter 1.5" (4 cm) vertical metal ring, black with radium markings, graduated to 360 degrees. Attached by wire framework to pivot.
Needle: Unsighted.
Pivot: Unsighted.
