Howard Mark I Sun Compass

Consists of a brass plate 7.5" in diameter which has a white paper card, graduated to 360 degs. This is covered by a perspex disc of the same diameter - a second disc is mounted over the first. At the centre is attached a pointer which incorporates a circular spirit level and a shadow pin.
