Swan (1767); Kingfisher (1770)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan, sheer lines with inboard detail and some midships framing, and longitudinal half-breadth proposed (and approved) for building Swan (1767), a 14-gun Ship Sloop. The plan was later used for Kingfisher (1770), also a 14-gun Ship Sloop. The plan includes alterations for both ships, and records the draught of water for Swan on its voyage to Newfoundland from Plymouth in April 1768. The plan also includes a table of the mast and yard dimensions.
