Adder (1797)
Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the inboard profile, upper deck, and lower deck with after platforms showing the proposed alterations and lengthening by 22ft for Adder (1797), a 14-gun brig-rigged gun vessel fitted with three sliding keels. While Assault is mentioned on the reverse of the plan, the ship was not lengthened, although the Adder was based on the same design (Acute class).
NMM, Progress Book, volume 3, folio 144, states that 'Adder' was renamed from 'No. 17', and lengthened at Nicholson Yard between May and June 1798.
