Cherokee/Cadmus/Rolla class 10-gun brigs ordered in 1823

Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan with stern board outline, inboard profile, and longitudinal half-breadth for building 10-gun brigs. The dimensions listed on the plan relate to the Cadmus/Cherokee/Rolla class brigs, of which 30 were originally ordered in 1823. The plan also includes an alteration to the deck height aft dated 1829. The ships were Alban (cancelled 1824 and name transferred to a paddle steamer), Briseis (1829), Hyaena (cancelled 1831), Carron (cancelled 1824 and name transferred to a paddle steamer), Columbia (cancelled 1824 and name transferred to a paddle steamer), Confiance (cancelled 1824 and name transferred to a paddle steamer), Dee (cancelled 1824 and name transferred to a paddle steamer), Echo (cancelled 1824 and name transferred to a paddle steamer), Espoir (1826), Fairy (1826), Harpy (1825), Hearty (1824), Calypso (1826), Lapwing (1825), Leveret (1825), Musquito (1825), Myrtle (1825), Rapid (1829), Recruit (1829), Reindeer (1829), Rolla (1829), Savage (1830), Saracen (1831), Scorpion (1832), Sealark (cancelled 1831), Sheldrake (1825), Skylark (1826), Spey (1827), Thais (1829), and Variable (1827).

This plan appears to be an 1838 copy of an earlier plan, signed by J Watts and dated 1838.
