Anglo-African (1929)
ANGLO-AFRICAN (1929); A port near beam from just forward of broadside view; At quayside, Liverpool, prior to 13 Apr. 1943. Light flare at bottom left of negative, ship slightly affected. The star on her funnel indicates her former owners, Nitrate Producers S S Co Ltd. She is recorded as being owned by Reardon Smith in the 7 January 1943 issue of Lloyd’s Vessels of Government Service. She arrived at Liverpool from Algiers on 19 March and sailed for Algiers 14 April 1943.
