Cape Mohican (1942)

CAPE MOHICAN (1942); A port near beam view from just aft of broadside; Lying in the River Tyne. Negative dated 7th Jan. 1944, the day she arrived in the Tyne, in tow, after being accidently torpedoed by an Allied submarine in the Mediterranean in 33.42N 16.34E, 21 Aug. 1943 while on voyage from Alexandria to Algiers. She was first towed? to Malta before leaving for the Tyne.
