Chimborazo (1871)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the passenger/cargo liner Chimborazo (1871) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has two yards on each of her fore and main masts. She is swinging to her mooring at slack high water and has an awning rigged aft. The bow of the steam passenger launch Maude (1886) is in the right foreground. Tilbury Fort and East Tilbury church are in the background.
