Faraday (1874)

A whole plate negative. A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the cable ship Faraday (1874) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. The iron framework encicling her stern has been removed and she has been fitted with additional accommodation amidships. She has four yards on her foremast. Tilbury is in the background.
