John Pender (1875)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the cable ship John Pender (1875) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has two yards on her foremast and an awning is rigged aft. Tilbury is in the background. The emulsion on the negative is badly lifted. A 12x10 photographic print produced in 1950s from the original negative is available for scanning.
