She has stem damage sustained in collision with the ROBERT LOWRY (1943) whilst on passage New York to UK with general cargo and explosives. She put into St Johns N F on 31 Jul. 1943 for temporary repairs. She arrived at Halifax, N S on 12 Aug. 1943 for full repairs and did not sail again until 24 Sep. 1943.'
