Last year, in early December, we were gifted with an early Christmas present. We were absolutely delighted to find out that our four stunning venues had been nominated in The Prestigious Star Awards 2024. These awards hold special significance as each stage of the process is determined by votes from luxury venue professionals, event clients and attendees, venue partners, and suppliers worldwide. Over 2000 venues are reviewed across the globe each year and only 200 are selected worldwide for the nominations. From that 200, only 3 venues in each category can make it to the finalist stage.

We reached out to our clients, our suppliers, our staff and the wider world and asked, if you think we deserve it, please vote for our venues. We weren't expecting a huge response but boy, were we wrong! You voted in your droves (thank you so much!) and....

Three of our venues made it to the finals! 🌟

Queen's House for the Best Birthday Party Venue

Cutty Sark for Best Christmas Party Venue

The National Maritime Museum for the Best Gala Dinner Venue

So we got all glammed up and attended the awards' final reception: The London Grand Ball at One Great George Street on Friday 15th March 2024. Treated to delicious cocktails and canapes in the venue's grand entrance hall, this illustrious black tie event featured enchanting musical performances from Urban Soul Orchestra, Sky Magician, Scarlett Entertainment and Amie True, before City Academy gave us a ballroom dance class in the Great Hall.

And then, reader, we won!

RMG Venues offer a unique fusion of history and prestige. This collection epitomises distinction from the glorious golden hull of the Cutty Sark to the captivating spiral Tulip staircase at Queen's House and the commanding ambience of the National Maritime Museum. The Cutty Sark deserves the Best Christmas Party accolade due to its ability to captivate guests and deliver a remarkable event experience accentuated by top-tier suppliers. The National Maritime Museum offers an expansive setting for grand gala dinners within a truly magnificent heritage structure — a rarity that sets it apart as an exceptional destination in London — making it a deserved winner of Best Gala Dinner Venue 2024.

We still don't have the words to express how moved and how proud we were when Queen's House received a highly commended title and BOTH Cutty Sark and The National Maritime Museum were crowned winners of their categories.

It was an incredible moment of recognition for the relentless dedication and year-round hard work of our exceptional events team. But it is also a testament to the remarkable collaboration among our museum teams, partners, and clients. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for all their unwavering hard work, trust, and commitment to excellence. None of this would have been achievable without every single person. 💕

Thank you to everyone who voted and who continues to support unique venues like ours. If you want to bring your next event to one of our award winning spaces, reach out now and tell us your grand plans. We know we can help.
