To enter the giveaway participants must respond to the post announcing the giveaway on Instagram, commenting with the @handle of a person they would take with them to outer space.
- “Promotion Period”. The competition launches at 5pm on Tuesday 23 June 2026 and closes at 5pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026. The Winner will be notified by midday Wednesday 1 July.

- The Prize does not include anything other than that specifically mentioned above, there is no cash alternative, and it cannot be exchanged for any other event at Royal Museums Greenwich or books from the publishers above.
- Internet access is required. Entrants must have an Instagram account to enter. No purchase necessary.
- One competition Winner from the qualifying entries will be randomly selected at the close of the Promotion Period. The decision of the selection is final.
- “The Winner” will be notified via direct message by midday Wednesday 1 July with details of the Prize. If the Winner does not respond within 7 days to confirm receipt of the Prize, then an alternate Winner will be selected.
- By accepting the Prize, the Winner accepts that their name and further details will be shared with Royal Museums Greenwich in order to post the Prize.
- Multiple duplicate entries, either from the same account or different accounts, will be disqualified.
- No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted from personal social media accounts. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
- Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
