Turner’s largest painting and only royal commission, ‘The Battle of Trafalgar’ is one of the jewels in the National Maritime Museum’s fine art collection. Due to the roof works taking place at the National Maritime Museum, this painting is no longer available to view at the Museum, but can still be seen at the Prince Philip Maritime Collection Centre. We have organised a series of exclusive viewings just for Members, accompanied by a curator from the Museum to learn more about this iconic image.
