Ahoy there! You are invited to a unique night at Cutty Sark joining the plentiful crew 'The Old Time Sailors' for a night of foot-stomping, dancing and singing! After a brilliant performance last year, the crew will be back for another night not to be missed!

You will be sailing back to the 19th century for an immersive experience of traditional seafaring music performed in a way you have never seen before. The motley crew and their plethora of traditional and eclectic instruments will take you back to the time of clashing tankards and drunken shenanigans. Sing and dance along like a drunken sailor as the band perform centuries-old folk and shanty songs. This will be a night not to be missed!

Image of band of people under the copper hull of Cutty Sark sailing ship, standing on a stage wearing shirts and paper bag trousers, holding instruments. Behind them are an array of ship's figureheads.

Fancy dress is encouraged, so pull out your best seafaring garments, me hearties, and join the festivities! Please note that this year’s concert will be a standing event - there will be limited seating, therefore if you do require seating please let us know.

The ticket price includes a copy of the brilliant Old Time Sailors newspaper!

Read all about it!

The Sunday Sailor is our traditional periodical, written and produced by the captain and crew. With some 50 pages of information about the band, sailing trivia, dance moves, history and - most importantly - song lyrics, this is the keepsake you will take home and treasure until you get the chance to set sail with us once more.

The Old Time Sailors is more than just a band, it is a truly immersive multi-sensory experience and we encourage all audience members to abandon their 21st century selves and become part of the crew of The Sailorette for the evening. The Sunday Sailor allows you to do just that, the printed lyrics meaning there is no excuse not to join in and sing along like a sailor!
