Get inspiration for creative ways to support your own wellbeing – and that of your students – in this Zentangle workshop. Using this pattern drawing technique, you'll explore how art can help raise awareness of – and reduce anxiety about – the challenges facing our ocean.
What is the Zentangle Method?
The Zentangle Method is a simple, structured way of drawing patterns that invites both adults and children to slow down and focus.
In this session with Zentangle teacher Kusam Bedi, you’ll experience how a series of deliberate, repetitive strokes can anchor attention in the present moment while remaining quietly absorbing and enjoyable.
As teachers, you spend much of your day supporting others. This offers a way to steady your own compass and create a small pocket of calm for yourselves.
Alongside the practical experience, you'll explore how this approach can support concentration, emotional regulation and classroom wellbeing, with ideas you can take back into school.
