Following extensive refurbishment, the Queen's House reopened to the public in 2016 to mark its 400th anniversary.
The House was originally commissioned by Queen Anne of Denmark in 1616 as a 'House of Delights' – a retreat for her cultural activities.
Ten years on from the reopening, we're celebrating the occasion with a special programme of events, including talks with the artists involved in the refurbishment and guided tours. Browse the range of activities below.

Musica Antica at the Queen’s House: Virtuosissime
Thursday 8 October | VIP experience at 5.45pm | Performances at 6.45pm and 8.30pm

Celebrate the music of four celebrated 17th-century female virtuoso composers from Venice and Florence, performed alongside works by the men who taught them.
This concert will take place in the sumptuous setting of the Great Hall, with a drinks reception beforehand.

In conversation with Richard Wright: celebrating 10 years of the Great Hall ceiling

Join Turner Prize-winning artist Richard Wright and art historian Christine Riding to discuss the inspiration, creation and lasting impact of Wright's artwork for the Great Hall's ceiling. His installation was unveiled in 2016 and takes inspiration from the architecture of the Queen's House.
