"Harwich" folder.
"Harwich 1942" Parkeston Quay material. Police notice to Commander T about a "Mr. Gregg" persisting in cycling on footpaths - an offence by Act of Parliament. Letter from Griggs to Captain at Harwich Base about how he felt it necessary to cycle between torpedo workshops and stores on the Quay, as "on occasions I have been at "A" and urgently required at "B", this has tempted me to break the footpath law. One particular case was during the Destroyers attack on the Scharnhorst " when he had to reload torpedoes as quickly as possible. Folder also contains a few other documents, e.g. List of library books charged to Griggs.
