Signal book used on HMS EURYDICE, 1848-1849.
Pocket notebook used by Edward Wilds during his appointment as second master on HMS EURYDICE (1843) on the Cape of Good Hope station in 1848-1849. It contains instructions and drawings for the use of signal flags, distinguishing pendants and divisional flags. There are also particulars of the ship and dimensions of sails.
