Contains original letters, mainly received by Admiral Charles Philip Yorke and including some in multilingual languages. Includes letters relating to anti-piracy operations in the eastern Mediterranean, 1823-1826. Loose material includes; four letters from Henry Park dated 28 May 1863, 4 Jun 1860, 14 Jun 1860 and 17 Jun 1864. Also invitation for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers & Commerce, taking place at Adelphi, London; a Memorandum respecting Floating Batteries; and a letter from Admiralty House discussing of Early of Hardwicke’s service.
