Original letters, mainly received by Admiral Charles Philip Yorke and including some in multilingual languages. Contains letters relating to the revolt of Genoa, including conditions issued by General De Asarta, representing the military forces of the Kingdom of Sardinia, 2 Apr 1849 and a letter from General Avezzana, National Guard of Genoa, threatening to sink the VENGEANCE, 9 Apr 1849. Contains three loose items.
