"Commander J.W.D. Powell - Governor": various correspondences concerning ship logistics

Letters written to John Williams Damer-Powell from Governor Francesco Saverio Caroselli, who governed Italian East Africa (Ministero dell'Africa Italiana), thanking him for his kindness and the British Guard's cooperation; a letter from Colonel Bernardo Valentino Vecchi of Esercito Commissariato, a small paper print of the painting, "L'Incontro di Teano" ("The Encounter of Teano"), by Carlo Ademollo, an illustration by Vecchi of a ship and is labelled "1943 1 Gennaio," and Vecchi's business cards; a letter concerning the ship, VULCANIA; a document certified by the Registrar General of Shipping and Seamen listing particulars of the ship, DYNOMENE; a typwritten copy of a letter written to Damer-Powell from Civil Commissioner for The Port of London, J.T.C. Moore-Brabazon, thanking him for helping coordinate a volunteer tug service during the 1926 General Strike in London; and written notes about William Baffin. Originally contained in an envelope now placed on top.
