Journal of a voyage From Egypt to Sudan and around islands in the Red Sea, between 20 November and 27 December, year not stated. The unknown author travels by the steamer GHARBIEH ex MAGNET (1869) from Suez to Suakin. He boards a dhow MABROUKA to visit other locations including the islands of Er-rih and Dahret Abid. He then goes on a hunting trip by camel before taking a passage back to Suez. He is accompanied by Mr Wylde, who is perhaps the trader and diplomat Augustus Blandy Wylde (1849-1909).
