Notebook of English-French naval terms, circa 1945.
A small ring binder containing a typescript list of English-French naval terms, with some additions made by hand. The technical terms include ASDIC dome, rocket-assisted take-off (RATO) and harbour defence motor launch (HDML), so the notebook was probably used by a Royal Navy officer in a liaison role during the 1940s.
