The manuscript covers Shovell's assault on Cameret Bay, the burning of Dieppe and attacks on the French coast, voyage to Gothenberg, blockading of Dunkirk and Calais; and also William Meester's 'machine vessels' from the 4 May 1694 to 4 June 1696.
