"This book contains three sections. The first section is dedicated to those seafarers who died as a direct result of enemy action and have no known grave but the sea. The second section commemorates seafarers who were killed by enemy action or who later died of their injuries, and are buried ashore. It also includes those seafarers who died of other causes whilst in the service of their country.
