Focusing on the evening of 14 April 1912 when Titanic began to sink, this work includes menus, recipes, illustrations and descriptions of dining on board ship. There are descriptions of each of the ship's dining rooms complemented by photographs and paintings. Brief biographies of some of those dining in the áa la carte restaurant and first-class dining saloon are also provided. Throughout the book there are tips given on recreating and hosting a Titanic dinner.
