Her name, Titanic : the untold story of the sinking and finding of the unsinkable ship

This controversial book met with mixed reviews. It consists of the author's account of his visit to the wreck site of the Titanic set alongside a depiction of the events leading up to the sinking of the ship. Pellegrino writes of a visit to the site following its discovery by Robert Ballard the designer of submersibles for deep-sea exploration and includes details of their discussions. Ballard had discovered the site of the wreck in 1985 while testing the Argo, a new deep-water submersible equipped with a remote-controlled camera and describes the search in his own book Discovery of the Titanic: Exploring the Greatest of All Lost Ships. Appendices include details of the Titanic's cargo manifest.
