House flag, Celtic Line
The house flag of R. Hughes-Jones and Co, Liverpool (Celtic Line). The flag is made of wool bunting, machine sewn with a linen hoist. A rope is attached. There are extensive hand repairs, tears and the colour has run.
A rectangular flag divided horizontally red, white, red. On the top stripe the letters 'R H J' in white, on the white centre stripe 'CELTIC LINE' in blue, on the lower red stripe '& CO'. in white.
