A smack running into a cove in a heavy sea
No additional information is recorded about this somewhat faded but lively drawing, though the smack (a cutter-rigged fishing boat) and ship beyond suggest that the location, if not imaginary, is probably somewhere off the south-western English or possibly the Welsh coast. Signed by artist and dated in the lower left. Exhibited: NMM Pocock exhib. (1975), no. 32.
