H.M.S. Cumberland
A watercolour portrait of 'Cumberland', which was commissioned as a guard ship at Chatham and then recommissioned as a flagship under Captain George Henry Seymour as the flagship of his father, Vice Admiral Sir George Francis Seymour. She served in North America, the West Indies and then in the Baltic for the Russian War in 1854. After a long career, she was finally wrecked in Rosneath Bay in 1889.
