Southampton (1912)

A port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the 2nd class protected cruiser Southampton (1912) under way leaving Portsmouth for a five year commission on the South America, South Africa and East Indies stations. She is flying the flag of Rear-Admiral Allan Thomas Hunt CB, CSI, flag officer of the 7th Light Cruiser Squadron. She has awnings rigged aft.
