Admiralty. The Earliest & most correct view of it 1730
Naval business was completed at the Admiralty building. This one was built in 1722-6, although there had been earlier ones. Some of the interior design features from the previous building (designed by Christopher Wren) were included in the structure illustrated here. These included carved wooden garlands and nautical instruments above the Board Room fireplace. Print
