Thames Barge Match, 1898
A 12x10 negative. General cargo spritsail rigged barges rounding the Mouse Light Vessel in the Thames estuary during the 1898 Thames Barge Match. The light vessel is seen from off her starboard beam. The barges are said to be the Satanita (1897), seen from abaft her port beam, following Giralda (1897) with Lord Nelson (1898) and Arrow (1897) ahead. They all have a number flag of the forestay.
