Anderson’s book was a self-published guidebook for travellers to India, featuring eighteenth lithographic plates including views of Ceylon [Sri Lanka], Madras [Chennai], Calcutta [Kolkata], Bombay [Mumbai], Mauritius, Madeira, Tristan da Cunha and the Cape Peninsula.
