Planisphere

Planisphere. The projection is geocentric and equidistant from the North Pole to South 40 degrees. Only the principle stars, connected by dotted lines, are included. On the border of the map, and on the back, there is a magnitude table which is labelled 'Magnitudes [1-5]'. The Milky Way is drawn but not labelled. 20 stars and two star groups are named. Ptolemaic constellations above declination South 40 degrees and two the non-Ptolemaic constellations are drawn as well as three of Hevelius.
