A distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the general cargo heavy lift ship Empire Admiral (1945) alongside a wharf in an enclosed dock at Calcutta. She has Glen Line funnel markings and her midships 5 ton derricks posts have been stowed. Her hull paintwork is shabby. A tug is standing by off her bow. The Empire Admiral (1945) was in port at Calcutta 10 -24 Oct. and again 23 Nov. - 14 Dec. 1946.
