Cullercoats Harbour, Northumberland.
Looking north over the harbour from Beverley Terrace Gardens, Cullercoats, Northumberland. It is low tide and the Cullercoats WT station is on the headland in the background. The Cullercoats lifeboat, Isaac & Mary Bolton (1950), is on her launching cradle, the area around the RNLI lifeboat house is decorated with flags and rows of deck chairs are laid out on the foreshore, probably for the commissioning or dedication service of the boat which arrived on station 15 Mar. 1951.
