A slightly distant view of the wreck of the general cargo ship Louis Sheid (1920) on Leas Foot Beach near Thurlestone in Bigbury Bay, Devon. The wreck is in two parts. The bow, seen from wide off the starboard bow, still has the foremast standing. The afterpart of the vessel, seen from off the starboard beam, has been cut down almost to sea level with only the stern post and counter standing high. The propeller is still in place.
