After over three years siege the garrison surrendered to the Archduke Albert. Plate to La Genealogie des Illustres Comtes de Nassau Jean Orlers, 1615 (2nd ed. p.241). Seige begun 5 July 1601. Assaults made 7 Jan 1602 and 13 April 1603. Surrendered 20 Sept 1604
