Moravian (1858)
A whole plate negative. A port side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Moravian (1858) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with single topsails, single topgallants on fore and mizzen, double topgallant on main and single royals on all three masts. The Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV 28 (1847) is on the Tilbury shore in the background. This negative has been broken and discarded but a 12x10 photographic print made in the 1950s has been copied and given the negative number G1644 (which see).
