Rothesay (1957)

A whole plate negative. On board the Royal Navy frigate Rothesay (1957) in the fitting out berth of Yarrow & Co Ltd at Scotstoun, Glasgow. In the wardroom on the starboard side of 2 deck between the Bridge Wireless Office and the Galley. The photographer is looking aft and to starboard from the port forward corner. The furnishings include two long tables, one with an extension, 14 chairs, four easy chairs, two large settees and an electric fire. Hanging on the left is a framed 1953 portrait photograph of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II and above the fire is a framed portrait photograph of Prince Charles.
