Rothesay (1957)

A whole plate negative. On board the Royal Navy frigate Rothesay (1957) in the fitting out berth of Yarrow & Co Ltd at Scotstoun, Glasgow. In the crew's mess near the aft end of 3 deck. The photographer is looking aft from the port side showing three mess tables with cushioned stools, settee bunks on the right with a hammock stowage bin in the corner, kit lockers on the left and at the end of the compartment, hammock rails fixed to the deckhead and a clock which is reading 4.40.
